Final Merge Meeting and AI and Combat Mechanics


Merged Logan’s sword-swipe VFX with Matt’s bow and sword combat mechanics.

Matt transferred the finalized Third Person Character code from his working blueprint into the main character blueprint.

Resolved bow animation issues after about 1.5 hours.

Still need to implement several of Logan’s VFX before the final presentation, including the well whirlpool teleport effect.

After Logan and Matt left, Lawson and I spent eight hours refining the AI.

AI was initially patrolling and engaging correctly, but its movement broke while implementing the system that keeps the dungeon door closed until all enemies are defeated.

Fixing the AI movement may need to be addressed after the final submission.

Replaced the Third Person Character mesh with a Fab store asset; transition was smooth with no retargeting required due to correct rigging.
