Character 3d Modeling To Do List / (Vfx)


I helped shape the early visual style of the game, drawing inspiration from The Legend of Zelda series. Although the art team had already started creating character designs, I reviewed their work to guide my own. Based on these designs, I came up with ideas for how each character's attacks and moves could be shown through unique visual effects (VFX). I organized these ideas in an Excel spreadsheet, using the character concepts to define the VFX direction for each one.

Initially, these were two separate Excel documents. The first focused on the character to-do list, outlining each character concept alongside the development status of its 3D model. This status was categorized into four key stages: modeling, rigging, UV mapping, texturing, and final implementation into Unreal Engine as a fully functional in-game character. The second document addressed the visual effects (VFX) components mentioned earlier.
